Secure Yet Growing
Philippians 3
Jeff Tollison (11/22/09)
| Security in our relationship with God comes from Him, through the righteousness of Jesus Christ. Self-righteousness is rooted in insecurity and leads to vain pride. Humility comes from a security which we have in spite of our immaturity. Within this secure relationship with God, He works to mature us. In this sermon we’ll see that this perfection process is something we actually experience – not just an abstract idea. |

Prayer & Mission as Righteous Rebellion
Luke 18:1-8
Ben Beckner (10/04/09)
| In the midst of a hectic teaching and healing mission, Jesus drops on his unsuspecting disciples a controversial parable on persistent prayer. “And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart.” It’s as if he were saying, “In the heat of missional encounter with the world, you have a choice: you can pray and work for God’s kingdom, or you can faint/give up/surrender!”
In this sermon we will see how prayer and perseverance is impacting Europe.
